Release policy

Support windows are governed by the Alauda lifecycle policy for this product line, which is the authoritative source. Under that policy, each GA release moves from Full Support to Maintenance 18 months after its GA date.

This page summarizes that policy and does not replace it. Where this page and the policy differ, the policy governs.

Alauda Data Services Analytical Database E1 is not a designated long-life release.

Maintenance scope

While a release is under Full Support, Alauda provides:

  • Engine anchoring. The product tracks the ClickHouse 25.8 LTS series.
  • Alauda-built images. Alauda compiles the operator and metrics-exporter images from Alauda-maintained source, and packages the server image from ClickHouse engine release packages. All images are published for amd64 and arm64.
  • Fixes through new releases. Corrections, including security fixes, reach customers in a new product release.

Not included

  • No backport to published releases. Fixes are delivered only in a new release; a release that has already been published does not receive corrective rebuilds.
  • No support-response commitment. This release defines no response time, no resolution time, and no fallback scope.
